A little more about me
I grew up in Lawrence, KS and spent my childhood enjoying music in every form. I moved to Denver for school and have grown to love the environment and who I am here. Today I am a resident assistant at a first and second-year dorm, and I also supervise student callers at the Crimson Call Center on campus. I have worked with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment for both the Bureau of Water and the Bureau of Environmental Field Services, gaining experience in wastewater treatment and water quality work. Outside of class and work I spend my time with the women’s rugby team and have served as the treasurer for the team since 2020.
I am interested in pursuing a career related to environmental action, most likely in the water as that is where I am most experienced, but I am open to all other elements as well. In the fall I will be completing a field quarter which involves a variety of field work in four different regions of the country/world, from which I hope to gain more clarity around my current strengths and future goals.
